Speedy
What exactly makes this twerp reckon i am talking out of my ass because it is a 40 mph limit for all trucks over 7.5 tonnes on the link road, and also if enough people report his trucks to Vosa he wil have to do a lot of talking from his ass to get out of it, I do not have an ADR but respect the drivers that have it and realise they have had to study for it and should treat it as something to show they are responsible drivers. also if you were doing 60 on the bike his limiter should be set at 55mph so he was either running with the limiter fuse out or it has been upped to go faster, VOSA take a very dim view of that, As i say all hazardous loads are limited too 80 kph (50 mph) in europe and if they want the same brought in here just carry on drivinglike that

Merv, this guy was well well over 40mph, my bike clocks said exactly 60mph.
I never knew the speed limit for the link road was 40mph for any vehicle of 7.5 ton, i will be printing this lot again of tomorrow morning before going to see this guy, and then let me see what he says about the 40mph limit. I will also be asking for the details toby asked me to get as well.

Report him to his company. Chances are that someone has already reported him. If the company have recieved several complaints they should take action against him (sack 'em).
Mate of mine did it to a Courirer that nearly knocked him off his pushbike. The courirer then proceeded to swear at my mate saying it was his fault!
He rang up the company involved with the reg number, the guy had already been reported twice so he got given his marching orders. Result, one less reckless driver on the road!
