Hi Free Spirit,
I used to live in North devon , but at mo I'm in Wiltshire. Though all the family ( well most of them) are still in Barnstaple and surrounding areas.
I shall return soon.

I'm not trying to hi-jack your post , but where do the bikers go these days in Barnie , now all the pubs are closing and being re-furbished. In my day we used to head out to the Gribble Inn on friday nights to meet up with the bikers ( yeah I know it's not Barnstaple) .
I visit often and find myself ,these days, in Sherry's of all places . I was told the Exeter was closed - and even Sherrys was gonna have a refurb.

Someone suggested Marshalls.

Or does one have to venture out of Barnstaple

Also do I know any of the Barnstaple folks ? I'm mid forties and I wents to Chaddiford Lane School and North Devon College ...just curious.
