Strip down the Xbox and remove the fans and heatsinks.

Replace the thermal paste on the CPU & GPU.

Replace the heatsinks ONLY, No fans etc...

Fire up the Xbox and after about 5 minutes the will be reset.

Re-assemble.

The reset will be shown by the puff of smoke.. Reassemble and hope they will take it back
