Can't read too much into first round of the season.

Teams are still getting used to new people, new bikes etc. From what I've read and heard, the Dukes (Xerox) are very similar to last year which could explain the results. Very impressed with the Yamaha considering its an all new bike (and in some ways a gamble with the irregular firing engine). Think your being a bit harsh on BMW- they weren't exactly off the pace, just suffered crap starts. I would put BMW more impressive then Aprillia- Aprillia build race bikes, BMW don't (or didn't till recently)

As for Haga clearing off, can't see it. He's not consistent enough and still needs to finf the limit on the Duke. Need to get a European round done before I make any predictions :)

Ah yes, when WSB was the "Ducati cup" and was very second rate.

What I meant was he's not the complete package from qualifying through to the races and still makes silly errors. Maybe, as one of the comentators said this years he's changed (when in the 2nd race he didn't push spies hard in the final few laps- old Haga would have pushed and possibly binned it)

Still want to see a European round when teams are settled.
