I'm in from tivi, 0830 start.
See you there Brian.
Petrol is still only £1.219/litre in Chard.
Got to be one of the cheapest fill ups in the country, and it's enroute.

Yes,considered it---the lie in, but Brian needs supporting (he's just had to cancel a recent trip) and I enjoy the route over the top to Tiverton too much . At that time in the morning (0730 Sunday) the roads will be empty.
Perhaps you could pick up in Chard, then you could fill up at Tescos.

Roy! You know me better than that - I'm Mr Lie-in! :)): And I'll be filling up at Honiton Tesco - paying the extortionate sum of £0.01 per litre more than Chard :)): - a price worth paying if I'm to enjoy my first breakfast of the day at home first! :-bd :-bd

And if you lot are late at Smiley's I'll be having my second there  .

Proposed route from Langport, through Ilminster and Chard to Smiley's café at Honiton :-
https://goo.gl/maps/k8tQB9n5KgxLCrqA6

So that's coming from Ilminster on the A358 and out on the A30 to Yarcombe. I reckon 09.30 at Chard. See you there Rich.

Cool, I'll aim to be at the lay-by bit as you leave Chard, which is actually a junction at the old toll house.
