As a footnote to this epic novel, the latest issue of Bike mag (Nov ‘20) has a group test of middleweight naked bikes featuring the MV Brutale 800, MT-09SP, Striple RS and the KTM Duke 890R but I’m not telling y’all their verdicts...

Go on scotty.
Tell us what they think.
And then can compare to the selection of youtube videos and see if they just copied from robs opinions.
Or has rob got a job with them??

It won't sway your opinion I'm sure, but the Z900RS is now available with 0% finance on HP.
Or S&P have 790 Dukes for £7499. And they have a demo available.....

I would expect from other reviews that the 890 Duke has got to be up there as it’s supposed to be a lot of fun from the reviews I have seen. But sitting on it personally was not a fan and could not test ride it.
I have now made my choice gone for the BMW F900R and gone for nearly all the optional extras. Have paid my money and picking up the bike in a couple of weeks

Out of interest what kind of deal did you get on this ? Did the current covid situation/ lack of sales give you a bargaining advantage ?

Thanks for all the kind comments guys really feels like the right choice and looking forward to getting this one and have some fun.
Julesh will drop you a DM with the details in a while. In short got a great deal and realised buying a new bike now and getting it imported is really important as the same bike is 7% more expensive as of 1st Jan with post Brexit import duty.
