Sorry I have to pull out. Not the rain, skin is waterproof and tyres have tread. Too much pain in hips today. Have a good one peeps.

Wellllll that did not quite go to plan.
Although the lovely bimble through the country side was wonderful right up until the car turned right, everybody broke to not smack into it with the exception of my best friend Bunny67 who didnt see until too late, grabs a hand full of brake and flipped the bike, knocking into mine causing minor damage and then ending up side down in a ditch
My bike had a lucky escape Bunny’s Superduke had significant damage but still rideable to get us home and think we all personally got away with it without any real personal injury.
Thank you to Duncan (Black and Gold) for the cable ties and road side fixes that did a grand job.
Hope the rest of you enjoyed the ride.

Glad you are both ok that's the main thing. As Al said bikes can be fixed!

Another not uneventful ride. Thanks to everyone for turning up up and I doff my cap to PTO (Phil the older) for organising and Roy for ably assisting with TEC duties.

It sounds like I missed an eventful day, I agree with Andy that Duncan may become our modern day Saint Christopher of travellers so will need him on every ride from now on!!

Thanks to all who turned out today and to Roy for standing in as last-minute TEC.
The on-road entertainment happened well behind PTO and I as the group were well strung out at the time: so we didn't get to hear the full details until the Blue Anchor coffee stop. Glad to hear there seems to be no major injuries, hope the same goes for the bike(s).

Here's a couple of pic's of where the 3/4 of us that made it stopped for a windblown snack in Blue Anchor.
Trust the other 1/4 of the posse that set out are o.k. and that the dents in the KTM and the BMW have polished out.

Being as I was leading and was well ahead I missed all the action but later reports suggest that car driver not at fault, Rob okay, bumps and bruises to Mark. Rob's BMW had scuffs and scrapes, Mark's KTM damage was a bit more substantial I believe - apparently it was tie-wrapped back together to enable it to be ridden home. Herr Plod not involved I understand.

I was behind him that's all it was, we've all been there and got away with it Mark was just unlucky think if he had another couple of metres he would have got away with it
