Bob wrote: Apr 19th, '24, 20:27 I’d be looking for a pair of generic silencers for my old Guzzi 750T (1991). Something like:
- Overall length less than 500mm
- To fit over a 38mm diameter downpipe
- Inlet to mount distance approx 330mm
- lightweight if poss
- fruity sounding but not deafening.

Not much then… ;)
Would not be a development as can't see there being the numbers required for us to do a "production run" to make it viable.
Also if Google images is correct for the guzzi 750t then the kick in the silencer would mean any can slid on would hang very low. (Linkpipe would be needed)

If ever Triumph Sprint ST 1050's get considered give me a shout :D . There's over 10,00 registered in the UK and many more than that worldwide. There's endless 'where can I get a custom end can' requests on the two Faceache groups I'm part of.

There doesn't seem to be many owners of the Honda CB300R that I have but they're really popular in Asian countries and the US. I guess they have different rules on what you can ride as Thailand, Indonesia etc can't get enough of them. Do you have a presence overseas?

Yep but they had that really weird under seat exhaust which is a royal nightmare, we have looked at them before but would want a custom silencer which would be costly.
Where we have done the exhausts for the sprint gt due to the side mount.

We do send alot of exhausts to India and Pakistan, as well as USA and Australia.
What age is your cb300r as would like to do some research on them. Regards

Aye :) Just a cheeky post on my part cos I couldn’t seem to access your company’s website. Guzzi only made 100 units of the 750T in any case, and only for the UK importer, so not much of a market at any point in time.

Replacement OEM pipes are pretty much unobtainium, and in any case they are quiet, restrictive, heavy and very loooooong. I will be casting around for some universal units.

Cheers, Bob.

We do a classic looking exhaust called the ac1
https://www.lextekproducts.com/part/AC1
It's an older cone style exhaust for the bonneville and royal Enfield type bikes but they are 51mm.
We also do a straight 37mm to 51mm adapter,
https://www.lextekproducts.com/part/LNKPP156
But still means that wouldn't have the bend to get the exhausts up.

We also do the sa1 which is a slip on in 37mm
https://www.lextekproducts.com/part/SA1

So have options for you to get something made but because of the low numbers in the UK would not be something we would do. Sorry.

2018 model. I think that was the first year of production. It's part of the Neo styled naked bikes, like the CBR1000 one.

Just checked our system and already do a slip on system for the cb300r models, so unfortunately cannot offer you a free one on the development scheme. I have added a picture for you to see if you were in the market for an exhaust though.
Thankyou for your interest.
