OK, another sensible answer from the old man... the product you need to use to re-blacken leathers is called Straw hat Dye... no.... seriously, it is! You can get it from old fashioned milliners shops.

Just don't ask how I know....

u can get the lining in leathers dry cleaned, did it once, worked really well.

Just reading this thread - i popped down to Mole Valley Farmers and you can get leather cleaner and renovator at much cheaper prices.

I have found that soap and water works best. If you decide you want a specialist product then you should be prepared to pay for it. I have used specialist products before and they work fantastically but you are paying quite a bit for the priveledge!

The Renapur stuff does last so if you want to buy products then you should definitely oft for that one. I have found that using the most minimal amount does give the best results as otherwise you seem to overload the leather.

Try out both and see what works best for your leathers. A combination of the 2 may be the solution.
