Congratulations Mike and Mel, its an amazing thing to have children although can be and is hard work. I have no regrets 99% of the time and wonder ‘what if’ the other 1%, though sometimes it’s the other way round….!

Well she's 18 weeks gone today (Thursday 27th) and she felt movement for the first time yesterday

My best mate is due on christmas day, she's really excited. I look set to be the birthing partner, I don't think I'll ever want kids after that!

Well Mel had her 20 week scan on Wednesday and baby (as far as they can tell on the scan) is ok Baby didn't want to show its face but when it did we saw it have a drink . No we don't know if it's a boy or girl, everyone keeps asking Mel was 21 weeks gone on Thursday. It's going so fast.

Well folks only 4 weeks left. Mel's doing really well and is very 'um, round. If baby comes now then it will be fine because it's 36 weeks. Also, we are ready (I think) so if Mel needed to go in tonight that would be fine. People keep asking if we now what it is. Well, it's a baby We didn't want to know the sex until it's born. Time seems to have flown by but also taken ages, if that makes any sense.

As you can tell from my sig (cos there's no shout box anymore) I'm really excited about this, as is Mel. Don't worry I will post up when baby is born with some pics.
