Thats pretty much exactly what I want. Just in about 4 months. Worked out not gonna have enough money for everything until march/april which is a bit of a downer but i get to rag my sisters boyfriends marauder for a bit :)
Spoke to misses and shes happy if i found it comfy that it will be for her

borrow 200 odd from parents, have it sat in the garage for a bit
thats motivation enough to pass your test, save up for insurance in the mean time.

Problem is if its sat in the garage im not gonna let it sit there, tbh lisence comes first and to be honest a 50 to a 600 jump is quite daunting but wouldnt mind a few months on a 125 jsut dont wanna be stuck with one. Doesnt cost me anything cause he just upgraded except insurance which is 150.
