Session 4, first of the afternoon, and Julian took me at the end of the straight going into the bus stop, I knew I was quick through the bus stop, and I wanted to see if I could keep on his rear tyre. I'd been braking hard at the end of the straight into the bus stop all morning so something had to give, anyway I was online but I locked my front wheel, released, then the bike shook it's head, and I was thrown off and rolling down the tarmac.

Snippets I've heard from spectators including Kim (who made me a lovely cup of tea thanks :D ) are of my back wheel being a foot in the air before I came off, wobbling, going over the handlebars while the bike low sided, and me tumbling down the tarmac several times with the bike rolling behind me. I finished on the grass in a cloud of dust, with the bike on the tarmac by my side in a pool of oil as the entire contents of the engine emptied though a hole smashed in the crack case. Gotta sore left knee and right wrist today, but managed to drive the Transit back and unload the bikes last night so nothing a few days of R&R won't fix. Feeling very lucky I obviously bounce and give better than the bike. Anyone want spares for a CB500, or to buy a ticket for Pembrey from me (£99), let me know!

Thanks to Si for checking up on me today to see how I was. Thanks to 'Bacon' for lending us his loading ramp, and hope your bike feels better soon. Man of the match had to be 'Diggler' for me, seemed to be in a class of his own, even on his wifes CBR400 he was at the front of the advanced pack, just made it look soooo easy.

Yep Huskvana Supermoto guy was good, his back wheel was bouncing and chattering off the deck as he braked into the bus stop, and it didn't phase him, he still managed to turn it into the hairpin every time, and he was keeping pace in the advanced group. He even brought a spare set of wet tyres and his sports bike, well prepared!

Kellys fairings are on their way to being repaired. Next step is a few hours of alone time with me and trusty soldering iron, will be repaired by Pembrey.

I know how you feel Kelly, my knee was stiff this morning, and it's been swelling up today, I've got a pillow on top of my PC so I can keep my leg straight. I don't think my bikes worth fixing. How are you coping without the morphine?

I'm fine, bruising is coming out today and I'm aching but thanks to Funky as he brought me some Ibroprofen gel which is helping. Hope you feel better soon and sort out a bike or try and repair yours
