Well bit of an update. This is going through insurance as the damage to Buns bike turned out to be quite a lot to the front end with all of the plastics cracked or broken and damage to the dash. My damage is a bit of plastic on the exhaust and a minor mount damage to an indicator but insurance company want to take the bike away for assessment. Think Bun was rather bumped and sore for a while but nothing more then some aches which if you consider the superman impression into the ditch is quite impressive. Just shows that waring your biking gear works.
Only issue we both now have is with the 3rd party that has been contracted to do the work for the insurance companies they are trying to milk every penny out of the job so have to see how long it takes to get the bike back.

Hope you took photos before the bike went in. I'd get the repairs done by main dealer not them personally. It's going to cost a fair bit insurance wise anyway. Good luck.

Shame you have to involve insurance. Even when the accident is not your fault it'll increase your premium for the next 5 years. Apparently you are more likely to have an accident if you're involved in one.
