why have people got it drummed into there heads that ducatis are expensive to service and run?
honda parts and servicing are the same price as ducatis.

my top 3 bikes i have owned...
Honda 750/4 hard tail chop (most fun bike i have ever had but you did get a sore ass. espesualy on a 500 mile plus day)
Yanaha FZR1000 Genisuss (with heavley modified engine to 160 BHP at back wheel. engine went "bang" every month or so)
Suzuki GSXR750 slab side (i liked it so much i had three of them. just a good confy sports bike. wish i had one now)
