Just had a quick read of this thread, I think NVT made several moped during the 70's, Rambler, Easy Rider etc, some had gears others didn't.
Also the Fibreglass body looks very much like something Rickman would make - didn't Rckman make some bikes with European Engines (175-250) for competition - could this be a 'spin-off' project.
Might help you with getting parts.

jeeez you must have good eyesight

wharever the origin of the engine, that as far as I am aware is an NVT ranger

it is entirely possible that it was available in other countries etc manufactured by someone else, like todays suzuki and vauxhall car things etc

not having a photo big engoh to show me italian stickers, I cant comment on that

is an example of badge engineering

"british" built but was basically a bike from somewhere else and then was badged in what ever destination by whoever decided to sell it

suzuki liana and vauxhall agila i think it is???, remove all the badges and what have you got, vauxhall or suzuki??

sorry but that is what is known as a NVT ranger, it might be known as somehting else somehwre else, but in this country thats what it was known as

ok so its got italian writing on it, sure that some of you with super fast crutch rockets will find some chinese writing on the damn thing somehere LOL

right then as good as I can do, but I aint no genius with photos etc

if you look at the pics you can just make out the air filter can and carb etc protruding from the front right hand side, in both photos, no engine transplant

it is quite possibly known as something else, the minarelli??? motor I beleive was also seen in garelli and gileras??
