I am a definite 'no' now mate.

You may have read on Facebook that I have decided to study for a Physics degree so funds will be tight for a few years. Sorry. I'll make it up to you by way of a cake... :-)

Forgive the 'bump' but I thought I would update this thread with a few piccies and info!

Me and Mr Smiler stayed here for a few days and I have to say its SPOT ON :)):
Ken and Lesley make superb hosts and we chose to eat there each evening with the other guests Paul & Miko (I think its about 20euros each for a 3 course meal - bring your appetite, she loves to feed peeps well, lol) the B&B is perfectly located for some fab biking roads, which they were only too happy to show us on our maps :)):

From Cherbourg, its about 200 miles down, but I would suggest a more scenic route would add a few more to that (but make it more enjoyable :)): )

oh and I meant to say...Ken & Lesley have very kindly given us the use of their discount code for the ferry! I think its around 10% but every little helps

Bookings for the B&B are being taken for next year NOW - for anyone thinking of coming along you will need to contact Nick (Red5) and get a deposit paid sooner rather than later !

Any other questions just ask... :ymhug:

recieved and noted. Look at the brittany2013 yes list thread.
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Great photos, glad to hear you enjoyed your stay - and you made it to the motor museum !

Totally agree, some amazing roads to "enjoy".

Thanks Richie, yeah we had a fab time! Motor Museum was ace..even stuff going on on the circuit too.. 8)

The bunker is along the coast from St Nazaire (Batz-sur-Mer?) well worth a visit :D

Coming back to the UK you're always aware of just how much more traffic there is over here!!!! Still, nice to enjoy some VERY empty roads

SOME ferry prices are out already - Poole-Cherbourg is £49 each way (cruise, not fast cat) adding another £25 for pillion...HTH :)):
