I'm sure that page actually contains English...somewhere.....sort of..... =))

So basically it shows a route/map in 3D?

I have a love/hate relationship with my Timtim as it is without making it even more involved =))

Then you'll have to play with the rest of us then! :)):

The idea of these rides is that you don't have to worry about such stuff - just come along, let someone else do the route/lead etc and just take the opportunity to enjoy riding your bike....simples :)):

I always like to have the route (if there is one), as a back up.
Been on a few rides (green laning) where the leaders GPS has failed and I've then had to take over.

If you see a sign saying Salisbury, you've gone the wrong way.

The leader needs a GPS??

I normally plan the route, ride the route, remember the route, forget parts of the route, ride a route.

As mmadw seems to look at the posted route anyway they can't tell if I've made a mistake or not. :)):

I'm guessing you don't ride green lanes?

70 or so lanes strung together through small country roads and farm tracks... Yeh, leaders have GPS as without it (or years of local knowledge) you're just not going to be able to string them together well.

Plus I'd get lost getting to the end of my road without GPS

I have route in my sat nav it's a fairly easy route so no one needs to panic if I knew how to send it to you I would I do green lanes as well and it's need for that but this route is well used by some of us and we can always make it up as we go along :D ;)

So Mark are you taking over as lead bike from Si or just being prepared?

Simon has hurt his back so asked if I will lead I will post up a rough route Sat afternoon with approximate fuel stop and coffee stops
Just a reminder this ride is a friendly ride and will be at the posted road legal limits
