Heavy frosts everywhere, but twernt that cold ...... Haldon was actually the warmest spot on my way home from W-S-M at 1.5degrees @ 5.00ish. Bridgewater/Huntspill coldest @ -2.5 .......

Either way, take it easy and have a safe ride :)

certainly was

we had brisk temps, varied bikes, new faces, new roads, car park quandaries, secret stop off surprises and a nice safe run.

Thanks to TEC and everyone else for doing a spot on job of marking the junctions and not loosing anyone - thankyou.

Hope your bike gets fixed soon Tom.

Big thanks to you and 'the boss' for your hospitality, I have never seen SWB members on such good behavior before.

for those that went home early, this is what you missed....

I want to send Mrs. Atomic a BIG thank you for providing cake for all us poor, hungry bikers.

There was a mutiny in the group and we created a breakaway Friendly Ride Out!

(Not really. We were bailing early too).

Hope the other two made it back alright...

Really enjoyed today on my old man's shiny metal armchair, totally different experience admiring the views! Scrapping metal footrests is the new kneedown B-)
Nice to meet those I don't know, thanks to the chap who organised and ran today, name escapes me!!

Seconded - thanks to Billinom8s & Kevitree for a very well organised run. Also thanks to the jm's as I didn't take a turn - but wish I could have.

Many thanks for the kind messages and the get well cards in the post, but a huge relief as all is well.
Just back from a 40 mile stint and not a hiccup. Visited my good mechanic (Andy's of Bridport) for confirmation and everything is as it should be. There are in fact 3 holes in the exhaust all perfectly formed as they are supposed to be there. They are the drain holes for condensation etc. I guess they might help a bit with the noise levels, probably why many owners with this model claim there is hardly any noise difference with an aftermarket can.

Personally I think my bike is a bit of an attention seeker, every little job on it turns into a bigger one. I was fitting a Givi rack, so as to have the psychological comfort for Mrs Atomic, and found that it wouldn't fit with the tail tidy. So 2 hours later I had finished 2 homemade brackets to extend the indicator units.
The levers from Germany, supposedly for my model, don't fit without rubbing the paint off. But, full credit to BS-MOTOPARTS as they are sending the correct ones, although not as pretty, without the need to return the old ones.

Thanks again all, it's why I love this group, from one very happy (again) rider. :-bd
