A483 down to Llandovery.
"The Llandovery loop" - A482 to Cwmann, B4343 to Tregaron, mountain road to Ystradffin and back to Llandovery.
Back up the A483 all the way to Newtown (great curves for edge of tyre action).
A489/A470/A44 to Devil's Bridge.
Mountain road to Rhayader (Elan valley upper section).

Loop round the Elan Valley lakes, back to Rhayader.
A470 to Newbridge.
A483 back to the hotel at Llanwrtyd Wells.


That'll be 209 miles which will be a long day in the saddle, so a long soak in the bath might be needed before the evening jollies

Let's make that 11.00-11.15 at junction 27 services and 12.30-12.45 at Aust services before crossing the OLD Severn bridge. Then we can zig-zag through the best bits of South Wales and the Brecons to the hotel for an approx' 4.00p.m. check in

"Dillon", one of the Busa guys has to pull out. He's booked a single room and has paid one nights charge as a deposit. This room is now up for grabs, so if anyone wants a single room with half the price already paid for you......

Pity Dillon can't make it. You would all like him, a "character". I'll see if I can get him to come on one of our SWB rides. Will be good to have another "curmudgeonly old fart" along Roy

Dillion seems to have had a rough time of late and the rear blowout he suffered on his busa just about capped it all.
He managed to stay on the bike while deflation took place, but he tells me, the tyre absolutely destoyed the rear end of the bike.
I think he's right ..ssed off with second hand tyres and wont be going there again.
You expect dealer supplied 2/hand tyres to be fine

Lets hope he gets everything up together and he does make one of those SWB rides.
