36 Years and in the process of getting the direct access completed. Sadly owed to covid, the tests are not being given, I wait patiently as a stare at my GSXR 600 k4.

I’m hoping, that once completed, I could attend a meet and come for a ride with you guys and girls to get some experience but more importantly, meet some great new friends.

more than welcome at meets and rides, have a look to see which ones are suitable for you and get your name down. If there's not one that's not for you then feel free to organise one.

Welcome Mr Donski - yet another rider from God's part of the finest county in England . You're sitting on the edge of some of Devon's finest biking roads, leading to more great roads in certain other counties Good luck with getting your Direct Access successfully completed so you can get out on that bike of yours and explore them.
As for group rideouts, maybe latch on to one of SWB's 'Friendly' rides for your first one, the clue's in the title; it's road-friendly - keeping strictly to the posted speed limits, and it's social-friendly.

Another member speaks very highly of this club, I’ve heard a lot about the rides and I’m looking forward to joining.

Bill, with respect of the tests, it’s understood that the re opening of DSA commenced around the 20th June. Thankfully my instructor will operate on a first come first served basis but there are 6 people in front of me that are already mid way through, so the direct access could be August in this case. I am open to going with other instructors to fast track things. Open to any recommendations

A bit late to the party but just wanted to add my welcome to the forum. As things start to unlock from Covid I am sure we will see more and more ride outs arranged (with social distancing) so perhaps meet up at some point.

Welcome! Good luck with the test, k4 gixxer's are lovely, quite lent over for longer rides but go like stink, see you on a ride out i'm sure
