sorry same old question, bought some frame protectors as the paint on my frame was looking a little sad, whats the best way to fit them ? silicone, double sided tape, Velcro ?i'm thinking silicone as I want them nice and flush to the frame, so just normal silicone or something like no more nails etc..and then how do I get it to adhere to the frame ? thinking it needs to be "strapped down" somehow so that its nice and tight whilst it dries ? any hints and tips very much appreciated

Clear bathroom silicone,
That way blends in and usually strong enough to bond on and when want to remove can warm up and remove without too much effort.
Just use masking tape to hold in place whilst drying.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Wotcha he said, with bells on.
Also, if you use a hair dryer on the inside of the protector and on the frame to warm them slightly, the silicone will stick and cure quicker.
