Hi Nicci and welcome to SWB. Nice mid-weight bike is the SV 650, glad you're enjoying it.

Rideouts, there's usualy plenty of organised rides, year round, until the dreaded C word started doing the rounds that is. Here in Devon (and Cornwall) we're in Tier 3 so are o.k. for socialy distanced rideouts in groups of up to 6. If you're in a Tier 4 you're a bit stuck for attending group rides because as I understand it, a. you mustn't travel outside your Tier group for leisure etc, b. you can ride alone or with a maximum of one other.
Simon (Billinom8s) is heading up a ride on the 17th I believe, and there's one space left details here: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=100739&start=15

Keep safe and I hope we can meet up on a rideout soon.

Hi ya and welcome to the forum, how long you been riding? I had a 650 for a bit, lots of fun when I did side it.

Check out the rideout section for up coming ones and quick your name down. Failing that you can always post your own up.

The pixel thing I'm guessing you're trying to put up a pic for your profile.
It Will tell you what size you can use.
I found it easiest to go into windows paint and Vicente use the tool there to Shrink the pic to the exact size.

Hehe, love it. Be nice for you guys to inroduce yourselves if you fancy. So I’m 45, birthday in two weeks. Been riding my life but not much at all, did my DAS in October and bought my incredibly fab Suki straight away. Living being on the front rather than in a race and on the back! Want to ride with people who arnt going to encourage me to go too nuts as I need to keep my license and also work in the emergency services so seem rather a lot of what happens when it goes wrong. All that aside, looking to make new mates and have lots of biketastic fun and I hear you guys are pretty cool.....

Where are you hearing such tales? I mean we were pretty chilly the other day but it was hovering around 1°.

Best place to allow yourself to open it up is track.

Have a look at the rides coming up and get your name down, keep an eye out for ones titled friendly as they are very civilized.
We all have jobs we need to do so riding to your own ability and responsibility is paramount.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope that you enjoy it here. As you will have seen from the Facebook page there is a lot going on with rides outs and when we are not in Covid times pub meets etc.

Hope to catch up with you on a ride out in 2021.

Enjoy

Hi and welcome aboard
As some have already said a track is a great place to both ride safely within your boundaries and learn a bit about what you and your bike is capable of! No pot holes and pc plods to worry about just great days riding as fast or slow as you choose with no pressures. There is a EU one hoovering about somewhere to Parcmoto somewhere in here!

Ride safe
