Me and couple of mates signed up, anyone else doing?

hate to admit it but i got bored on my last trip to Pembrey, love the laid back atmosphere, but going around 7 corners 17 or 18 times a session ....meh

i've got my fight on the 31st so i'll be taking it easy that day i'm afraid. have fun and if you're in novice approach the hairpin on the right hand side of the track.

Would have loved to have joined you but in Bedford that day for a track day.
Do you know which version of the circuit your doing the old lay out or the new layout?
Have you done the track before or is this your first time?
I really enjoy airport style tracks and have had a lot of fun at Pembrey in the past.

Can't do the 30th July as we have JW day at Mallory at the beginning of the week. May be up for a trip to Pembrey on one of their September days 24th, 25th & 26th if anyone's up for that?

Think they only use the one layout for bikes Rob.

It’s my first time at Pembrey , although I do have a bit of track experience , it’s Fozz’s second trackday ever , his first being Llandow, a couple of weeks ago . Ady, our other mate has done Pembrey a few times and doesn’t think it’s meh !

I did it twice, and the second time didn't end well

20 years on, I'm reminded daily of the consequences of not warming your tyres sufficiently before giving it the beans

Pembrey is very similar to Llandow just a little bit bigger. The paddock area does not have any garages and the track is an airfield track (i.e. flat tarmac) the track is a little bit bigger but is also a bit more flowing. Just take the day steady and consider it a road ride without speed limits and your be fine. if you want to know lines and the track layout have a look at the video I linked above this will give you a good guide.

Cheers , definitely looks a faster flowing track with no chicanes or “ Bus stops” ( I actually enjoyed throwing the bike around through that bit ) .
Looks like we’ll be able to scrub the left side of the tyre in too !

I was also at LLandow a few weeks ago and got talking to Ady, that's if you mean the guy with the red r6?! I done Pembrey last year, Ian Lougher day and would agree with Rob that it's basically a bigger version of Llandow, I really enjoyed it, the 3 corners after the initial tight corner are basically like the last corner at Llandow. I've also booked on with Phil Bevan but all days in July were sold out so me and a few mates have gone for the 1st of August. May turn up when you guys are finishing if we are allowed to camp (don't think you can at the moment though...) You will enjoy it I'm sure. Good luck

Re the camping , it’s not allowed at the circuit , we are staying in a campsite only 5 miles from it though .
