Hi all,

I am planning on doing another Cornwall/Devon Rideout again Sunday 20th Feb 22 (weather dependant). Also the Devon lot could meet us at Bude like last time
Route will be:

Set off 0900 from Chivvy roundabout (Starbucks) heading up to Bude - Launceston - Callington - Chequered Flag (food) - Charlestown - St Austell - Chivvy roundabout.

All are welcome as the pace won't be that quick during crappy weather/conditions.

Weather dependent would like to do this one. If its above 10 deg and not pissing down I'm in.

Same Ts and Cs as Menzies.

Could do this one just need a time to meet Bude also maybe North Devon guys could meet me Torrington like last time at 10am to meet you guys Bude for 11am i'll try and bring some Devon guys with me.

If we are doing the run from Devon I have done it in the past to go through Mid Devon (North Tawton, Hatherleigh out to Bude) and then down the A39 round Newquay and then meet up with Jay. However I know from experience that's a 3 hour run before we meet Jay so either needs an early start (6am out of Exeter) or if we talk nice to Jay maybe we could do the Cornwall start a little later to allow time for us to get down there.

Rob, could we meet Sourton or Hatherleigh on the day if you dont want to meet Torrington?

As we planned before, I'll have another go at starting from Wellington at 8.30 to get to Torry 10.00 and meet Jay in Bude. Maybe my wheel bearings will hold up this time?

What ever is easier for you guys... the start time can always be changed to suit everyone

Funny you should say that I have had two wheel bearings go on two different bikes recently

Ok guys…. This rideout maybe in doubt as yesterday I ruptured my Achilles’ tendon and my leg is in a cast! I’m off to hospital again this morning to have an ultrasound on it to see how bad it’s ruptured…… I’m hoping it’s not that bad?? And what sort of recovery time is?
I will post more later today.

Based on your Facebook post that your going under the knife I take it that it was worse then you hoped. Fingers crossed for you Jay hope your feeling better soon and it all heals up. But I am guessing this will now be shortly cancelled.

Crap news Jay, GWS pal. I'll do my bit to Bude regardless. If unfortunately Jay isn't fit I'll continue to Loui's at Callington.
