Popped in to Trago yesterday morning and they had no fuel at all. Left it and filled up at Cullumpton services yesterday evening with no problems. Can't say I've noticed any queuing at filling stations, so not sure what's going on. Can't help feeling once again fuel companies and media are creating a false situation to allow/cause an unwarranted massive jump in in fuel costs ......

 feck all to do with storms, more to do with Ukraine, oil companies will be delaying it for a while until they can charge us £1.70 a litre

I am assuming based on media coverage of the current conflict everybody is assuming there is a fuel shortage as Russia are not now supplying us. As I understand it there is not a fuel shortage we just get it from somewhere else but it cost more to buy it from somewhere else so the price has gone up. Daft bit is why the fuel prices are high panic buying is setting in to fill up tanks and fuel cans assuming that everywhere will run out. reality they are not running out other then the stations that have not ordered enough fuel as they were not expecting to need to get extra

Peeps rushing to get it at £1.50ish a litre before it hits £2.00ish a litre. And how many panic having driven only 50 miles after brimming their tanks and simply must top up with 3.5 litres.

That pisses me right off 📴

I'm a courier and the van will only do 3ish days on a full tank and I'll spend most of the day trying to find supplies. I've started turning down extra work as it would involve a lot more miles and it's not worth the hassle and cost. If everyone filled up when they got down to a quarter tank or below we'd be fine. I get it that fuel prices are climbing but filling today instead of next week when maybe you'd be getting low might save you a pound 🤔 Is it really worth it?

Or, for some of us, that'd be more like 25 litres =)) =))
