Granted... but still do'able.
I've done the north coast down to Perranporth, stopped for drink on the beach and then ridden back to Chard, all in one day.
Was a long old day though, might do something similar again this summer,

My birthday on the Sunday and apparently Mrs Ming has something planned for the 30th........let's hope it's something more exciting than a trip to a National Trust house :80:

Route tweaked, straight up A30 from Smileys to Yarcombe bends - cheers Phil the elder :-bd
Also skirt round Devizes on some nice back roads.

I did a few sidecar races there with North Glos on the RAF airfield.
Widest start line I’ve ever been on. Mass drag race into the first corner.
