Portimao 2022 - Euro trackday insurance with medical conditions

Hi All,

Anyone ever needed to get trackday insurance when suffering from medical conditions? I've recently had a cardio stent fitted and my normal insurance companies wont cover me abroad at the mo, and the specialist medical insurance companies seem to be for old grannies and dont know what a track day is.

If anyone has found a company that does this sort of insruance please let me know. I'm trying Adrian Flux but still not sure if they will offer cover.

Cheers
John

Kata Not sure if they will support but normally go with Insure and go which is an online application and don't ask to many questions. might want to give them a try. They will not cover repatriation insurance have to do that one separately then standard holiday cover

Its worth asking Gee as he managed to get insurance before as he had underlining health conditions.

Why not wait 6 months and try? You've only just bad it fitted so they're probably nervous

Thing is, if you wait until near the time and they turn you down, it's going to be harder to sell your place on or lose your deposit. I'd much rather get it sorted ASAP then it's one less thing to worry about. Not as much of a problem if you're free of medical conditions that need disclosure

If you were to wait until closer to the time and get turned down, you would sell your spot no problem as this TD will be sold out very shortly.

Thanks for the info guys. Didn't know about how easy it is to sell your place, but it's still a risk and stress when I don't need it. I'm looking at other ways though. Cheers
