Figures on stolen bikes

Well, it looks like Devon and Cornwall has the second lowest stats for bike thefts.

Where as Avon and Somerset has one of the highest !!!

So I guess the criminals will look at those public figures and think that Devon bikes are either over protected or that nobody bothers to come down this far.

Bristol is stupidly high for thefts.

A fact came out the other day that over 600bikes in 3 months got stolen from wiltshire.

Not brilliant numbers. Just got to do what you can to make it as hard as possible.

I got back on a bike in 2011 After 30 yrs or so without.

I've had 5 thefts plus 2 attempts (in Brizzle). Madness.

Ah, 1911. The heyday of biking. There were zero thefts of bikes that had no ignition keys, nobody needed a huge padlock and chain and GPS trackers hadn't been invented. and there were still green fields between Brizzle and Barf :mrgreen:
