R.I.P Atomic, funeral details

Post by billinom8s »

Some of the newer people on here may not have known or ridden with Tom but Ida could always be found at West Bay on a weekend. He came to llandow a few times and was always about for friendlies.

I had a message from his wife this morning to say that at 0410 this morning he lost his battle with cancer. He'd beaten it once but a different form came along and was too much for him.

Tom liked nothing more than to be out on his bike and has apparently put in place plans for a bike funeral/escort. I don't have the details as of yet but will post them on here when I do.

That's such a shame,
No matter when I saw Tom, he always had a smile on and was a friendly face.

Thoughts are with the family at these times.

Tom's funeral is going to be on 12/11 at Higher Ground Meadow the service starting at 1pm.

John Bramble is organising the escort ride and will put this up on facebook,

They are doing a reccy ride this Friday which I'm sure you could join if you wanted to. Once the reccy ride is done we'll have more info on meeting times and location

That's all the info I have right now.

I can't make the funeral date as my Triumph's going to be on SORN from the 1st November - and I don't know where 'Higher Ground Meadow' is anyway :?: .

Only met him twice. Seemed a fine fellow. Might be joining him soon.
