Sunday 20th August. Rideout to Bridge M/C's BSA open day.

Post by Robbo87 »

Who fancy's a mid Devon rideout of about 80 miles, starting in Exeter and ending at Bridge M/C's BSA open day?
Open day details here: https://mailchi.mp/bridgemotorcycles/ne ... ba10966fba

Start: 10.00 hrs. Exeter M5 Services, top of car park. Fueled up and ready to go.
Route: All minor A or decent B roads, no trunk rd or dual carriageway stuff. Cullompton, Tiverton, Witheridge, Winkleigh (coffee and eats), Okehampton, Bridge M/C's.
Pace: Mine, so not 125 friendly.

This ride is confirmed as on.

Are you going to bother looking in your mirrors to see if anyone is behind you? You never know, they might have no trouble keeping up but they've slowed down because nobody is behind them

If there's a bunch of us I'll use the drop-off system, if only a few I'll slow down/wait if the light behind becomes a dwindling dot.

Conflicting weather forecasts for mid Devon from the Met' Office and the BBC for this Sunday at the moment.
The former says wet, the Beeb says not; so I'll confirm if this rideout is on or not on Saturday mid-p.m.

So will Mrs R and I. But we'll be doing the sensible thing and recording it so as to fast forward through the talking heads when we we watch it later.
