Shocked to hear today of Roy's death a few days ago.
A great character who I've always enjoyed a natter with or a bit of banter.... not often I've been on an SWB Rideout without Roy being there. You'll be missed mate.... RIP Roy

I wonder what the future holds for his Bandit?.... Heath Robinson would have admired Roy's 'custom' bit and bobs! 😆

UPDATE # 1.

I don't have full details from Roy's family or the Funeral Director yet but can inform the following:

1. Post mortem carried out p.m. yesterday (17th Oct') revealed the cause of death to be heart related.
2. The funeral will be held at Taunton Crematorium, Wellington New Road, Taunton TA1 5NE. Date and time to be advised v' soon.
3. A SWB motorcycle escort, at or to the funeral, would be appreciated if possible. I will advise on this a.s.a.p.
More details on the above to follow as I get them.

It has been decided amongst some SWB members that a collection in Roy's memory be made and distributed in the following way:

A 'whip round' amongst SWB members to be made immediately, deposited into a SWB 'Roy Bulcock' account and held by our own Simon Rolls. - details on how to pay below.
The initial monies raised will pay for flowers to be sent to Roy's wife Jean on behalf of SWB. SWB member Phil The Younger (Tvrv37) has kindly volunteered to organise and co-ordinate this, look out for his post(s)/messages here and on WhatsApp.

Any monies left over after the flowers are paid for, plus any money that comes in to the Roy Bulcock account subsequent to this will be added to and saved pending the following: I will be organising a SWB 'Roy Bulcock Memorial Rideout' as soon as practical and convenient and I will be having a whip round. This money to be added to the above R.B. fund held by Simon and then presented to a charity of Roy's family's choice. - I think this may be the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance but will confirm a.s.a.p.

The Roy Bulcock fund, how to contribute: via PayPal using the following details - a/c to pay in to - southwestbikers@hotmail.co.uk . IMPORTANT, please make sure you tick the 'Friends & Family' or 'Gift' box to avoid charges and mark your contribution 'Roy Bulcock'.
Many thanks in advance for any and all contributions.
