Dear all,

It is with great sadness and regret I have to inform you that our friend and fellow SWB member Roy Bulcock died at his home in Chard on the afternoon of Tuesday 3rd October. I received the news in a phone call from his wife Jean this morning at around 11.15 hrs.

Roy's death was sudden and entirely unexpected and doesn't at first investigation appear to be the result of any kind of accident. A post-mortem will be held in due course.

Jean has agreed for me to tell you all the news and to act as the family's 'information centre' for the SWB group. I will keep everyone informed about funeral arrangements and all relevant information via this thread as and when I know them.

If anyone has any questions I am happy to give what answers I have so far. I can be reached on:
L/line: 01404813501.

Oh [censored], that's such a shock. He looked more healthy than most of the others on the last ride I was with him on.
Please keep us updated as and when you can, mate. I'll be thinking of him and his antics on Saturday's ride

R.I.P Roy, the Rideouts will be somewhat quieter, less entertaining and also a fair degree safer now.

A big shame.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

OMG deepest sympathies for all friends and family did not see that one coming at all only seems like 5 minutes ago seeing him out on his bike. A true character who made his bike his own and was known by all for being so different from the mainstream.

Roy you will be truly missed. RIP Roy
