Remap

Post by jimboraver »

Hi, Have done a exhaust servo delete on the bmw s1000r, sounds way better, maybe a bit offensive  but i feel like it has lost some low down punch ? Is fine once its above about 6k which is when the exhaust used to be fully open. Still have The Cats installed just a bit of a gaper slip on.
Wondering if its worth a remap and cann anyone recommend somewhere not a million miles away from Exeter?
Thanks jim

I think there's a dyno at GT Motorcycles in Plymouth - not sure if they do remaps as well but maybe worth giving them a ring as they might know someone who does.
KTM 1190ADV - sold
KTM 790ADV - sold
KTM 790 Duke - current
Honda CB300R - can I get any smaller 🙄

Go to crispy's in plymouth, very good tuner. Works using the Woolich system and has his own dyno.
Did my zx10r and it's running sweeter than ever now.

You've found out why the factory fitted an exhaust valve. It's there for low down and mid range, not just emissions.
You ought to get a good dyno operator to map your bike on a dyno. I wouldn't get a generic "flash" done. I'll second Crispy's for dyno tuning your Beemer.

The GT performance guys don't have their own dyno - they use Crispys dyno in Plympton :-bd
