Interesting not considered looking in Lidi for base layers. Might be handy for summer under leathers for when on track. Will go take a look if they do fat bloke sizes.

Nothing in Honiton Lidl when I went there yesterday but Aldi are stocking the same thermal 'base layers' from Sunday it seems.

They crop up in the middle aisles of both places quite regularly. I've got a pair of winter long johns that have held up to a lot of use

Yup, I've got a pair of winter gloves with a visor wipe on the left forefinger I bought in Lidl so long ago that Bodecea's chariot was on the secret list. Paid 12 quid for them, wear 'em regularly and they're still good. So I'll deffo be investing in these yer thermals.

How much were the thermal tops Phil? There were a few in Honiton Lidl at £11.99 but they were all L and M sizes, too small for moi. Aldi are putting the same thing on this Sunday at £6.99 so I'll get there sharpish and check 'em out.

The "mens thermal top" base layer I was referring to was a special the week before last and was a sports/skiwear item. High collar with thumb loops on the arms. Unfortunately I've been banned from showing a photo
