Hi Ed you're very welcome to join us on Sunday, I'm assuming that would be with the group I'm leading from Exeter M5 services so will add you to that list. Please make sure to read the rideout details in this topic's first post and check back again tonight (Friday) for confirmation that it's still on.

Reminder folks...
You really should wear a hi-viz plus Tesco type plastic shopping bag inside your kit to keep warm - like wot Roy always did.

UPDATE #3

RIDEOUT DATE CONFIRMED

The weather Gods have been listening and so the Roy Bulcock Memorial Rideout will definitely happen as planned.

To those attending - please refer to the opening post in this topic for full details but to precis:
1. Please make sure you are at your chosen collection point (Exeter M5 services or Shell services on Wellington ring road) in good time and fuelled up.
2. To those that have them, a hi-viz vest and a Tesco carrier bag folded under your jacket a' la Roy would be a nice gesture - umpteen layers of extra clothing not compulsory however; ditto copying any of Roy's Bandit mod's :)): .
3. There'll be a whip-round in aid of DAAT at either Bluebell Cafe or Jonesy's Cafe.
4. We will be using the 'drop-off' system during this rideout. If anyone is unsure how this works please make it known at your collection point.

That's all folks, see you on Sunday! :) :) .

Excellent. Thanks for turning out folks. I believe we raised a nice round £100 at the whipround for Air Ambulance. Roy would have been chuffed with that. Big thanks to Phil the elder for orgamanizing this memorial to our dear friend Roy.

Well what a ride out and what a turn out, for me I would say quite possibly the best SWB ride out we have had a long time.

I’m sure that Roy would have been so happy that so many people turned out in his honour and that he influenced so many that turned up in high viz vests, photos, and I noticed that Duncan even created Roy’s visor wipe….

Loved it.

Look forward to seeing the other photos especially the ones with the SWB banner.

Thanks to Phil and Brian for the organisation. Thanks to the rain for the grit, water and pot-holes.

Lovely day in Roy's memory. I certainly remembered him overtaking me in a similar ride around that area.
