Been chatting to Blackgold Duncan and he's planning on going for a ride this Sunday.
Meet Bridge M/Cs 10am and if nobody's got a better idea of where to go I'll make something up, but any ideas welcome.
Let's see if I can get my wee Honda to keep up

Should be back from the trial in Nottingham by then so a rideout would be a great antidote.

Possible cafe stop, The Engine Room. Google is wrong, it is open and we've been there a couple of times:-

Not to be confused with this Engine House near Callington. Another bikers regular stop, and which is also definitely open:

HI all, I'll be there tomorrow. (as long as no car ''drivers'' reverse into me on Bickleigh Bridge) I noticed on google maps that the engine room is closed permanently now, any alternatives?

There's always plenty of alternatives but the Engine Room
is open - read post # 6 above.

Duncan has informed me that the road to Bridge is closed, so we're moving the meeting point to the pull in area just off the A30 westbound at the Alphington roundabout. So, from the M5, take A30 to Okehampton and take 1st exit and go left at the roundabout and it's immediately on the left. See you in the morning

Same start point as my rideout of 17th December folks, here: Location: The start of Ide Lane, junction off of the A30 - EX2 9FB, or if you're map reading savvy - 50.700715 -3.546409. Here's a link to the start:
