According to the Phil Bevan website it's 96.0 DB on a drive-by. It also seems to be a 'One strike and you're out' policy i.e if you initially pass and a subsequent test proves to be over 96.0 DB you're out for the day. It all seems a bit draconian to me.

I think my £165.00 per day will be better spent elsewhere.

Guess the old Lady on the hill got hold of a decent lawyer at last and she's kicking off.

Planning at some point this year to actually buy myself a track bike rather then always hiring one. and will be very interested in going back to Pembrey when i do but doubt that i will have the cash to do so until June (ish) so will be later in the year.

Its an OK track but it's still quite a drive to get there. no pit garages and very very strict on safety briefings and noise. For similar money you could be going somewhere like Donington or Bedford.

That said its a great little track and I would want to venture back again and give it another go.

Pembrey is good for learning consistency, with 17 or 18 laps in a session, but that's about it,far better tracks in the UK albeit a few more miles away
