It would seem that I am a bit of an idiot

Post by menzies3032 »

ok ok you didn't have to agree with the title that fast you could have considered it for at least 3 seconds :)) :))

As you might have seen it was my Birthday yesterday and the wife asked me what I wanted and so I pointed her towards an ebay purchase of a new set of knee sliders for my track day suit as my old set I have worn out. She then wrapped them up and gave them to me as a present.

I have gone to Velcro them to my suit today and turns out what I ordered was "Reverse Velcro" sliders so they are fluffy side to fluffy side with no stick :-o X(

Ebay seller has been very helpful and is allowing a return...... but what a rookie move :-?

Got to be honest didn't even know this was a thing.

I didn't know this was a thing, so reckon I'd have made exactly the same mistake. Fortunately, I can't get my knee down, so mine will last forever :(

glad it was not just me then.... if it makes you feel better took me 7 years to master the skill, but once you know you know....
if you want some road rash on your knee sliders pass them in my direction and happy to do the honors for you O:-)
