Forgive me, this may come across a certain way.
I am a brand new rider off a CBT, I have a 125cc, I want to make some biker friends in Bristol who I can ride with, talk about bikes etc.
Do those who ride larger CC bikes have a view of those who ride 125’s? Or is that all self mind talk?
I feel like I don’t engage with others out of fear I would be judged for having only a 125cc on learner plates. I am interested to see how some of you feel about that perspective. Thanks Joe

Re: 125cc rider Bristol
what you have to remember is that pretty much most riders have started on a 125. you do get the ones who have done the DAS have missed out on learning to ride.
bikers are pretty friendly, just talk to them and have a laugh, ask where you can get a decent mug of tea or bacon sarnie and you'll be fine.

You'll see through the egos quickly. Lots talk the talk but certainly don't walk the walk.
Just be friendly and you'll be fine.

Re: 125cc rider Bristol
Hi Joe, I've lived in and around Bristol all my life. Started on a moped back in 1980, never had a problem and recieved help from others including back when I was 16 outside a bikers pub and I snapped my key - they helped me sort it so I could get home, we all ride bikes. We all love riding bikes and talking with others who have he same interest.
Re: 125cc rider Bristol
Some of the most fun rides are on a 125cc bike
Especially when you learn corner speed is your friend.
It doesn't matter what you ride as long as enjoy yourself, unless going our for a silly speed blatt (not that we do that)

Re: 125cc rider Bristol
Hey Joe welcome to SWB
I look back on my 125 riding days with great fondness….. don’t get me wrong I was a complete and utter total loon on a 125 got a lot more sedate now in my older age. But 125s are cool…
I also love what they are now bringing out as 125s there are some really differant brands and options that just weren’t around 30 years ago when I was shopping for 125s
Anyway if your looking for rides keep an eye open for friendly rides as these will be run at a pace suitable for all CC and any time your join for a coffee and bacon sarny to talk bikes is always going to go do well.
