Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Breakfast ride Sunday 21st April START PLACE CHANGE

Post by Red5 »

Been a while but about time we had an early brekkers ride out to beat the traffic and take in some lush roads.

NOW MEETING AT EXETER MOTORWAY SERVICES. TOP CAR PARK BY THE COSTA DRIVE THROUGH. NOW LEAVING AT 0730HRS!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you will have done this before but for anyone who hasn't, we'll be going on a ferry, no pass port required, travelling through one of the worlds most expensive neighbourhoods and having breakfast on the Quay. Be like being in Monaco... :D

Absolutely no land speed records on this one, will be sensibly progressive. around 80miles out, not sure how much the ferry is but a few of your finest English pounds. Breakfast on the quay at Poole, Dorset then back to Exeter in time for a late lunch time, ish...

Fuel stops and coffee en route

looking at around 170 miles +- ish.

See some of you there!!!!! :-bd \m/ :-bd \m/
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

I've gotta pass on this one too Nick. I'm also away this weekend. TIP: Watch for innocuous looking white vans on the A35 Bridport by-pass, near the Eype/picnic area turning. It's a 50 mph limit and after crawling behind grandma's Nissan Micra at 25 mph for miles it's a tempting bit of road. The lovely people in the aforementioned white van are only there for your safety of course and will be happy to inform you about it in a NIP in the post about two weeks later. They're there quite a bit, especially Sundays.

Would love to, mate - but the pace is gonna be a bit of a stretch for me tiddler, going by last Sunday's ride. 3 mins of redlining in 6th trying to keep up does nothing for my mechanical sympathy 🙄
KTM 1190ADV - sold
KTM 790ADV - sold
KTM 790 Duke - current
Honda CB300R - can I get any smaller 🙄
