South West Bikers | Motorcycle Forum

Hello all,
I've recently moved from the Midlands to glorious Devon. Love the roads in the South West.
Been riding since 1976, starting with a KTM moped, onto Honda CB125, then Honda CB250N in 1980, when I passed my test. Took a break of 20 years or so before an acquaintance with a new Suzuki Bandit 600N in 2003. In 2007 I purchased one of the last BMW R1200ST bikes available in black. Totally different experience to Jap bikes. Some might say, an acquired taste. I love it, even the front end..
I don't get to ride it much now, but do still like taking it out for an occasional run. I aim to keep it going for as long as I can. It's barely run in with a mere 18k from new. May soon become a museum piece.

As I'm one of the more prolific ride out argamanizers and only being 3 miles from you you'll find plenty of our ride outs start from oop here in sunny North Devon. We do rideouts throughout the year when the weather gods allow.
