Took a ride out to Quickshifter Coffee in Wells a recent venue used by 44 teeth. It was Wendy's first ride since her accident so wasn't fast or furious.
It's styled as a biker cafe and it has good coffee their own brand Quickshifter. I didn't eat so can't comment. Although cakes looked good. The menu is limited to drinks, breakfast type baps, panini's etc. It's on a new industrial unit just outside Wells Somerset and well worth a visit as these ventures should be supported.
Google Maps thinks it's in a field so put Screwfix Wells which does appear.

Nice one. I saw the 44 Teeth thing with the bike lawyer - very informative. I did wonder why I'd never heard of the place - too new for my knowledge. Was all fields back then

Great news that Wendy is back on the bike
This looks like a good excuse to go somewhere different on the next rideout - see they're open 11-4 Sundays

We spoke to the owners and they are planning a series of events including hosing Chasin the Racing podcast, bike nights etc. next year.

I went there for a talk on winter bike maintenance. Was useful. Found the place didn't have much atmosphere though. It's just an industrial unit with chairs and tables really. However it's another place to go.
There are better coffee shops around if anyone wants a tour.
Cheers

Good to see your riding again Wendy, I'm sure that's where we stopped on the charity ride earlier this year didn't actually get to the cafe as there was over 300 bikes and bit of a queue for the toilets

Thanks Al and Brian, yep 2 rides this week, not far but feeling good about it. Wrist and hand just need to get used to being on the bike again, but looking forward to next year and seeing you all soon.

Thanks for the suggestion on this Cafe Phil didn't know of this one. Got to be worth a visit on a 2025 ride out. being on an industrial estate and clearly biker friendly got to be a good stop without upsetting any locals.
As Said above Wendy great to see you back on 2 wheels and hoping the recovery continues
