Here we are then boys and girls.
The plan so far...

June 11th to June 14th we will be invading the Normandy beaches, well, the port if Caen at least on the morning of June 12th, after a late/over night crossing. Then returning via Cherbourg to Poole on the Sunday 14th.

britannyferries.co.uk

Ride up to Portsmouth, evening of Thursday June 11th, get the 2300hrs ferry to Caen, arrive next morning at 0645.

Then the return trip is from Cherbourg Sunday 14th 1815hrs getting into Poole for 2145hrs.
Most of us are grown up enough to check out prices etc online, I know what I've paid for me and Kate, so what you all pay and depending on who you share a cabin with etc is kind of up to you....

In between these dates, I've yet to confirm accommodation but know we can find somewhere to suit once folks have confirmed...

The observant of you will realise these dates are close to Brian's (the grumpy grey one) usual Wales trip, which is always a blast but these dates have been chosen to accommodate some particular circumstances as a lot of us go on that trip and absolutely love it but thought we'd try something different.

Limiting the actual trip to 12 bikes but pillions welcome,

Sooooo who's in????

So far confirmed and booked

Me and Kate

If you don't mind a little drive, this place is heartily recommended, just south-east of Rennes ....... https://www.manoir-automobile.fr/home/

Would've liked to have tagged along as token elder on this one but apparently I have to 'expect a knee operation sometime in the spring' say the NHS. I'll be hors de combat for quite a while after that I suppose 🤔. Basically, both the Sprint and me will be sorned.

Nick, you've now got the 12 bikes with 14 bodies. Time to get your accommodation sorting hat on...

...strictly no camping :80:

I mean in tents, not with gimp masks and fetish outfits

Indeed it is... Never realised it would be so popular. Better hope the super frogs are prepared to host the super roast beefs.... :))

Can start a reserve list but the trip this year is currently full :-bd \m/

Mr Red5 as much is I don’t mind a little bit of camping for a weekend in Devon or Cornwall in Summer months I have to agree for this trip we need rooms and what ever the French do for bricks and mortar.
