Picking up on Nick's latest thoughts... The weather is looking to be much better Monday than Sunday so I'm changing to MONDAY
MONDAY 6th April
Exeter Services, 09.30 to leave 09.45hrs. Top of main car park.

If the latest (Saturday) weather forecasts have got it wrong and it's going to be peeing down/freezing/blowing a gale I'm staying home. Will post here on
Sunday late afternoon/early evening if I cancel so please check here before setting out.

Think you will be going sailing not bike riding, weather is looking shocking. If the BBC Weather app is to be believed then Good Friday seems to kick off a new stretch of non stop rain for the next week (and more)
If you are going, hope that you have a good ride

It wasn't last month for my car. Shocking lack of communication from a lazy government. Now I can't ride until the MOT which I can't get till next Friday, but they will want me to pay tax beginning of the month, so I lose 10 days. Doesn't even go on roads. To get a noddy reminder, in case anyone doesn't know, you have to prove UK identity. It's massively over the top!

There's a few apps now that will store your various dates for vehicle things and then remind you at various intervals.
Could just use the Callander on your phone and then set an event and a reminder on it. That's basically what I do but I use Outlook on my PC. I have lots of policies running and can barely even remember my own birthday nevermind anyone elses.

Friday forecasts for Sunday are iffy and Monday looks so much better so I'm changing the ride to MONDAY
MONDAY 6th April
Exeter Services, top of main car park. 09.30 to leave 09.45.
Climate change rules apply.....If the latest (Saturday) weather forecasts have got it wrong and it's going to be peeing down/freezing/blowing a gale I'm staying home. Will post here on Sunday, late afternoon/early evening if I cancel so please check here before setting out.

Write to your MP about it Alan. Friend of mine had a similar issue with the DVLA. The MP got it sorted.
Apparently letter wise the DVLA were just dumping letter in a pile to be reviewed and never got to the bottom of the pile as new letters were dumped on top!

Brian, I doubt I can make this one but if 'stuff' changes I'll meet you at the Three Horseshoes, about 200 yards east of where Seaton Road (the Honiton/Ottery/Farway road) merges with the A3052 on the left.

Have a good run, watch out for Dorset traffic cameras.
Enjoy the sun.
