im thinking about getting this undertray for my sv.i think it would look really nice but have no idea how to fit them.has anybody had experiences fitting them and how long does it take?

A guy I know has recently fitted an undertray to his R1. He was worried about doing it after reading it wasn't a job for a novice, as it involved a bit of chopping around, but he did in one day and said it was a piece of p*ss!

Having fitted mine to my Gixer, the best advice i can give is be patient, follow the instructions closely, you may have to hack saw your mudgaurd off, i did, and you may have to hack saw your luggage hooks off, i did. All in all it took me a couple of hours to do it all, but well worth the effort.

heck...I was lucky when I fitted my solo seat and undertray. I only had to unbolt the rear frame work and remove two screws and the whole unit, including lights etc, came off in one piece!

Make sure you got yourself a Haynes Manual & give it a go...

If you get stuck you could always pop online again & ask the guys on here..
