Front brake problem

My front brake has started sticking but i'm not sure where.

What is happening is that i'll pull the brake lever so far and the brakes come on (but not much). If I pull harder the lever snaps and all of a sudden it's stoppie time.

What does this sound like? I dont have a clue and asked ina another forum if the cable was sticking (I didn't know they were hydraulic  )

Thanks for any help peeps

Your pads still got any meat left on them???

IF they ain't...change em...

IF they have...prolly need to bleed the system and/or replace brake lines (pref all with stainless)

Also make sure your using Dot 4 Brake fluid.

If none of that solves it...then could be a problem with the calipers or master cylinder...if your not confident...get someone to have a look at em after you've tried the above :)
