Ouch!!! There goes my front wheel

Post by Dave »

Image

Coming home from work today (First day in new job)

Following a lorry out on the back roads, when I see a group of rocks & stones appear from under the lorry, I move to avoid what I first saw, but ended up heading for the largest one, by which time it was too late to do anything (Cold tyres as well)

So there's a pic of the damaged caused, looking for a new wheel on eBay so I can replace ASAP, then I'll think about getting this one repaired & either selling or putting back on the bike.

Nah they went to lighter wheels every year almost, an SRAD would slow the steering IMO.
