What to replace the CBR with?(sniff..)

I know you like your fairings Rob so that will rule out the 1200 Bandit I guess....But seriously the RF900R would suit you down to the ground. Its sporty, yet not as full on as a ZX7R for riding position. Makes more power than the early fireblades (the first ones) does too, and...trust me...will go plenty fast. I had one myself, lovely bike. Best thing about the RF900R is that its such a overlooked bike that you can pick them up quite cheap. Its a lot of power for the money!
Of course with your love up 2-up riding I'd suggest a big-bore V-Twin cruiser...All that torque is ideal for pulling 2 people around all day long But you like the plastic bits I guess

2015 Indian Chief Classic & 2022 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
Agree with Chris but it doesn't have to be a big bore V-Twin cruiser mines good for two up all day and still has the big grin factor as you have seen on rideouts. But I expect you'll end up with a plastic rocket We will try to turn you to the DarksideTerminatorChris wrote: Of course with your love up 2-up riding I'd suggest a big-bore V-Twin cruiser...All that torque is ideal for pulling 2 people around all day long But you like the plastic bits I guess

do u fancy a triumph daytona 900 mate?? It may not have less miles but at 37K its barely run in
Other than that i would have said a thundercat would be an ideal bike for you mate - don't reckon u need a litre class bike (and they cost a lot more to run) Also not convinced a zx7r is quite your style (although would be good at Llandow). The thundercats are bloody good bikes and can be picked up very cheap, plenty sporty enough for you mate and also good for touring.
Just out of interest where u planning on going???

Good man. Stay in the light.
I like a bigger big cos it makes driving easy. I like the torque from the larger engine. And they don't work out that much more expensive. ?50 more on insurance for the 1000 over the 800 and it does more MPG. GSXR1000 sounds good.
Main problem is not using to much of the power and getting in trouble, legal or painfull.
