Mini moto help

Post by Jase »

I was going to be getting a "cheap" mini moto but this seems to have fallen through :(

I was really looking forward to getting it and now it's fallen through I'm on the lookout for one. Looking at the shops tho there seems to be a multitude of different ones all stating between 30 to 50 mph top speed and choices of engine size etc etc.

I was wondering if theres anyone out there with some advice as to which is best to go for and how much should I be spending?? I would really like to have a go at racing up at Dunkerswell and hopefully if the circuit is built in plymouth as well ;)

Any help much appreciated 8)

I'm no expert but if you want to have some fun you'll want something a little faster than a cheap one, They're a bit slower than my Blata and I was being left for dead on the straights.

The B1 reps are one of the best out, They're good for about 50-60MPH and only cost about £250-300 for the basic model

You could always buy the original: http://mmm-xtreme.co.uk/minimoto/catalo ... 924c9d8291

Yeah that one, I'm pretty sure you can pick them up cheaper than that tho.
A guy at Dunkeswell (who has one) said that if it has wavey discs then it's the already upgraded one.

I had a quick look into this last night, It seems the 2 best ones atm are:

B1 Replica: http://pocketbikepro.co.uk/catalog/prod ... ucts_id=29

Polini 911 Fila Replica: http://pocketbikepro.co.uk/catalog/prod ... cts_id=117

B1 is spose to be faster (and looks better imo) but the Polini rep is built really well, I saw one down Dunkeswell and it does look REALLY well build.

Also pocketbikepro.co.uk is apparently the best place to buy from.
