AOL Broadband

having trouble installing the Modem Drivers, it wont let me basicly.
It says i cant do it unless im in the Admin account or some shit... But its the only account on Windows and IS the Admin account!
HELP!!!!!

Is this windows Xp? In control panel > user accounts go to change account and check that it is on admin mode. If not its just AOL software being crap, par for the course with them.

I expect you need administrator privaleges.
Check on control panel, users..... then under your name it should say "computor administrator"
If you've got that don't know what's causing it.

XP and i am on the admin accounts with full admin rights

is it saying "cant do this because...." or "cant do this unless ...."
Maybe just tell it to do it, click button or what ever, and it will do it.

It was constructive! Find another ISP! AOL is full of bugs

Trouble is ive paid for it all now, got it all here etc, i'd rather try to get it working before trying something else!
I think the fault is actually in Windows not the Modem Driver

Delete the guest login in user accounts, if you've got a guest account

I use AOL and now I have broadband it works fine.
I Dont use AOL software.Outlook for emails and firefox for net. Got wireless router for easy round house use, its no probs at all most of the time.
